The OSTOST photo project aims to document the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the Eastern European region through photography. The project started in March 2022 in Warsaw, few weeks after Russia attacked Ukraine, and continued in July 2022 in Estonia and Latvia. Being in these countries which share a border with Russia, helps capture the physical and emotional tolls of the ongoing war.

The project featured a range of photographic styles, from documentary-style images that captured the daily lives of local people, to more artistic and abstract compositions that aimed to convey the mood and atmosphere of the region, especially the signs of solidarity with Ukraine.

This ongoing photo project is a powerful and meaningful endeavor that aims to document the human impact of war on the Eastern European region.
